Where was the picture taken?
Close watchers of Pic’n’Post will know that to the older format of any sort of text + photo combination, I recently added a Where was the picture taken? feature. They’ll also know that the first two editions were won by Quilt Musings. What they won’t know is that she’s also guessed where the picture below (Pic’n’Post n° 8) was taken! They won’t know because, not wanting to spoil the fun for other people, she very touchingly sent me the answer through my contact page. So as she has been so kind as not to reveal it, the contest remains open, and to make it easier, I’ve added another picture from the same place, at the top of this post: same bridge, different angle, and a big, big clue dead centre!
The rules are as follows:
- One guess only
- I won’t reply to guesses or give any clues
- The answer will be given one week from now
- If more than one person guesses correctly, the first to answer is the winner.
On a suggestion from Faraday’s Candle, who thought the composition of the picture made it a good candidate for black and white, here it is. The forms do indeed emerge better, I think.
Izzy kept alive the original Pic’n’Post format with a heartrending story about separation, with a final picture of footprints in the snow that captures the mood brilliantly.
Thanks to all for your contributions. Keep them coming in, and in the meantime, here’s another picture specially for Quilt Musings 🙂
