Launching the Izzy May I blog event related to writing, Izzy-grabs-life asks what comfort snacks keep us going. I’m afraid to report I have none, unless you count a gallon of coffee in the morning. Writing, in fact, keeps me too busy to eat, which is probably just as well, as it also, obviously, keeps me from exercising too. Unfortunately, this means I have no pics of buffalo wings, smoothies and pizza bites to display (none of which are available here anyway). So I’ll just post a link to a great song by Loudon Wainwright, which I’m sure many writers can relate to:
Great addition! XD Coffee definitely counts. It’s probably the most common writing “snack.” I, for one, prefer my delectable tea. But any drink that has a legendary past can help during these moments (Muse Blues!):

Coffee for me too and I agree if things are going well too busy to eat. But on a slow day it’s biscuits. I’m particularly partial to digestives dunked in my coffee. ..

Coffee is the classic writing fuel. I’m a hobnobs fan, though the crumbs can really get in the keyboard sometimes…

Indeed – though better crumbs in the keyboard than coffee…

Totally agree about the chocolate – but if I start I don’t stop, so I try not to buy it (well, just occasionally)
